The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the CSS Provisional Special Examination Schedule for 2023.

CSS Special Provisional Exam Schedule 2023
- Online applications for the MCQs-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Private Competitive Exam. From 10 to 26 December 2022.
- MPT procedure and publish the answer key on the web: January 31, 2023
- MPT Result Announcement: February 15, 2023
- General Notice for CSS Private Written Competitive Exam: February 19, 2023 (Sunday)
- Receiving Online Applications of MPT Qualifications: From February 19 to March 5, 2023.
- Receipt of hard copy online applications with documents of MPT qualifications: Until March 15, 2023.
- CSS Written Special Exam (start date): May 4, 2023 (Thursday)
The MCQs-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) screening test will be taken prior to the CSS Special Written Exam 2023. The MCQs-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) qualification must be mandatory to appear in the main CSS written competitive exam. MPT fee will be rupee. 250/- (non refundable).
