For outstanding students from Balochistan and the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has established University Scholarships so that they can attend HEC-accredited colleges and universities and obtain degrees (DAIs).

HEC Scholarships for Tribal Areas and Balochistan
Scholarships under the title “Providing Higher Education Opportunities for Balochistan Students and FATA (Third Phase)” are being awarded to the first batch for the academic year 2022-2023 in all fields of study and majors. HEC Scholarships for Students from Balochistan and Previous FATA are explained in the following detail:
Eligibility criteria
- Candidates must have a Local Certificate or Certificate of Domicile from Balochistan Province or the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas, and must have completed 12 years of schooling with at least 60% in FA, F.Sc, ICOM, ICS, or DAE, or equivalent, to be eligible for the scholarship programme.
- Candidates must have reached the required academic milestones on or before the closing date;
- Candidates must not be more than 22 years old as of that day.
- Candidates who have already been awarded a Government Scholarship or HEC Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
How to apply HEC Scholarship Undergraduate Programs 2023
- Candidates must submit their applications via the HEC website (hard copies of applications and any other documents are not required at this stage).
- Candidates should deposit/deposit via bank challan, wire transfer, payment order or payment order of Rs. 500 (non-refundable) at Habib Bank Limited: o Account number 01 7900 1334 1742,
- The candidate must upload the original bank or split payment history with the online application and keep it secure in order to show it at the test site. Higher Education Authority is the name of the account, and its branch code is 1742. (No one will be allowed to take the test unless they can show the original bank deposit slip.)
- The candidate has to submit the application online after completing the form. Applications that have been saved but are still incomplete will not be considered.
- Without giving reasons, HEC reserves the right to stop or terminate the scholarship application process at any time.
