Eligibility criteria for the University of Western Australia Scholarship Program

• Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.5/4.00.
• The following objectives must be met by applicants to the 2023-24 UWA Financial Program.
• ATAR between 85 and 98 or WAM between 70.00 and 85
• All international students are eligible to apply for a fully funded scholarship from the University of Western Australia.
• To enroll in an MSc or PhD program in Australia, students must have a strong command of the English language.
• Students must obtain a letter from UWA confirming their acceptance.
• For a postgraduate research degree at UWA, candidates must be accepted.
• The UWA Global Excellence Scholarship is available to both men and women.

Students must have the following scholarship documents in order to apply for admission to a fully funded postgraduate master’s program in Australia.

How to apply for a scholarship

• The first step is for the student to create an account and profile on the university website.
• Choose your preferred degree program, apply for it, and submit all necessary paperwork.
• The student must apply for the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship after applying for admission.
• Only those shortlisted will be notified by the university management of their interview for a scholarship.
• A scholarship will be awarded by the university only to recommended students who have passed the interview.
• The earliest date for submitting a UWA scholarship application is 2022.
• To continue receiving stipend payments, students must maintain a minimum grade point average (CGPA) during their entire studies.
