Eligibility criteria for the University of Western Australia Scholarship Program
- Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution with a GPA of at least 3.5/4.00.
- The following objectives must be met by applicants to the 2023-24 UWA Financial Program.
- ATAR between 85 and 98 or WAM between 70.00 and 85
- All international students are eligible to apply for a fully funded scholarship from the University of Western Australia.
- To enroll in an MSc or PhD program in Australia, students must have a strong command of the English language.
- Students must obtain a letter from UWA confirming their acceptance.
- For a postgraduate research degree at UWA, candidates must be accepted.
- The UWA Global Excellence Scholarship is available to both men and women.

Students must have the following scholarship documents in order to apply for admission to a fully funded postgraduate master’s program in Australia.

How to apply for a scholarship
- The first step is for the student to create an account and profile on the university website.
- Choose your preferred degree program, apply for it, and submit all necessary paperwork.
- The student must apply for the UWA Global Excellence Scholarship after applying for admission.
- Only those shortlisted will be notified by the university management of their interview for a scholarship.
- A scholarship will be awarded by the university only to recommended students who have passed the interview.
- The earliest date for submitting a UWA scholarship application is 2022.
- To continue receiving stipend payments, students must maintain a minimum grade point average (CGPA) during their entire studies.
