Iqbal Day 2022 Holiday Notice
It is interesting to note here that a public holiday on Iqbal Day was suspended in 2015 during the run-up to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Following the 2015 decision, a petition was taken to the Lahore High Court (LHC), holding that November 9th should be considered a public holiday in memory of the national poet.
