Earlier, a student filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) against the MDCAT examination conducted by ETEA after which the MDCAT results were stopped by the Primary Health Care Center. Now, a group of students has filed a petition in the Peshawar High Court against the merit formula decided by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) in which 40% weight is taken for FSC full marks. While students are required to give 40% weight to marks of FSC elective subjects only.
Today, the Chairman of the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) spoke to Geo news and said that all the questions were from the syllabus and no university included any question in the MDCAT test which is extra-curricular.
However, the MDCAT paper was difficult and students were given marks for errors in the answer keys. Despite the many mistakes in the MDCAT, there are two clearly wrong questions in the Answer Keys issued by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore which are proven in this video.
