Petrol Subsidy for Motorcycles, Cars and Rakshaws in Pakistan 2023 has been announced today on 19th March.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that a relief package would be implemented to provide oil subsidies to 50 rupees per litre For low-income individuals who own small vehicles such as Motorcycles, karts and cars 800 cc.
During a review meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of implementing the program quickly and developing a comprehensive strategy in cooperation with relevant departments to ensure its effectiveness.
The Prime Minister acknowledged that low-income individuals mainly use small vehicles, and that the subsidy will provide them with much-needed relief. He added that despite the difficult economic conditions, the government is committed to helping the poor.
The meeting was attended by high level officials including Finance Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Adviser to Prime Minister Ahad Cheema, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, Finance Minister, Minister of Petroleum and others. Mossadeq Malik, Minister of State for Petroleum, gave a briefing on the support strategy.
