According to media reports, all public and private schools, colleges and universities will remain closed on November 8 and 9, 2022. The decision to extend the closure will be taken at a later time.

If the situation persists for a longer period, these holidays can be extended. But at the moment, only two days of holidays are announced on November 8 and 9, 2022. These holidays are due to the long march by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI.

Office of Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi, due to the widespread state of law and order in the country, the relevant authority has decided that all government and private education institutions located within Tahseel Rawalpindi only remain closed for two days on November 8, 2022.
