In Punjab, all private and public colleges and universities are going to enjoy their summer vacations 2021 from July 12 till July 31. On July 5, 2021, the Punjab Higher Education Department (PHED) declared the summer holidays for colleges and universities by an official notification of education department.
Summer Vacations 2021 in Punjab
The Punjab Education Department has already announced the summer holidays 2021 for schools from July 1st till August 1st. The Education Minister, Murad Raas, had declared this school’s summer holidays news in his tweet on 29th June.
Now the Punjab Higher Education Department declared the summer holidays on this Monday for all private and public colleges and universities for 20 days due to extreme hot weather. It said that “For summer vacations 2021, all public and private colleges and universities will off from July 12 till 31st”.
PHED said that “Secondary Certificate (SSC) / Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Annual Examination 2021 for the intermediate and secondary students will be held through the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education according to the already declared schedule”.
It also announced that “All the public and private universities will remain held their examinations in the announcing summer holidays according to the already notified schedule under COVID-19 strict rules or observance”.
The Provincial Education Minister, Murad Raas, said that “My request is to follow SOPs during the summer holidays 2021, which has declared by the Pakistan government”.
